The holiday season is almost upon us and what better way to start it off then with some massive discounts. If you're a gamer, today is a really good day to have some money left in your wallet because there are quite a few interesting titles that are being sold on discount. I checked out some of the most popular websites that specialize in games such as Steam, GOG or Green Man Gaming and I've selected a few very interesting offers worthy of being check out:

Since Steam is the number number one digital distribution platform when it comes to games, I though that we should start there:

GOG

GOG is another major competitor on this market and although it may not store the hottest titles, the games it sells are DRM free, which means that they can be shared with others:

  • Tyranny: Commander Edition - $20 (60% off).
  • Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition - $5 (75% off).
  • Hellblade: Sanua's Sacrifice - $26.59 (25% off).

Other sources

Of course, other more general sellers such as Amazon or BestBuy have their own discounts on games, but you will probably better off checking the websites of popular game publishers such as:

Origin:

  • The Sims IV - $10 (down from $40).
  • Need For Speed Payback - $40 (down from $60)
  • FIFA 18 - $36 (down from $60).
  • Plants vs. Zombies Game of the Year Edition- FREE (original price $5).

Square Enix Store:

Battle.net

  • Overwatch - $20 (50% off).
  • World of Warcraft: Legion - $25 (50% off).
  • World of Warcraft - $10 (50% off).

Of course, the level of interest in these offers depends on each gamer's personal tastes, but so far, these the best deals that I've come across. I wish you all happy hunting and don't forget that there's no reason to go overboard as there are still Thanksgiving, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's sales to come. And, if you're having troubles deciding which game to acquire next, you can always take a look at the list with the most anticipated games of 2017 and see if inspiration hits you.
