The Weekly Digest: September 29 — October 5 The Weekly Digest: September 29 — October 5

Hi everyone!

This week was a real treasure trove of exciting hi-tech news, so we couldn't but direct our attention at this great variety of topics, from Angry Birds to how you can protect you privacy from the all-seeing eye of Facebook.

On Monday, Haley James told you about one of the first accessories for iPhone 5, the Keyboard Buddy Case. The hottest device of this fall has been available on the market for less than a month, but the accessories manufacture has already started new great gizmos to make out iPhone experience even better (yes, it is possible).

On Tuesday, Nova Vozrak talked a bit about the newest Rovio hit game, Bad Piggies. The Angry Birds universe, which has become the most important contribution of Finnland to the modern geek culture, has now given us an opprotunity to look at the conflict between swine and birds from the other side of the barricades, as you now play as the evil piggies. Read about it in more detail here and download the demo version of the game from out site!

It was not all we talked about on Tuesday: the awesome sleep-art project by the Ibis Hotels chain is just so great Haley couldn't wait one more day to tell you about it. The idea of a robot painting a picture of my sleep is so thrilling that half of our editors are no seriously thinking about heading to London, Paris, or Berlin to take part in that cool geek experiment.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Keath Wyszynski picked up on his favourite topic: evil companies filching your personal data and laughing down at your privacy. This time it was Facebook who came into focus as the largest social network on the Earth has taken it too far, trying to track you even offline. Our two how-to's thoroughly explain you how you can avoid the intrusive attention by Facebook both offline and online.

Finally, on Friday Haley brought you the happy tidings of Google's Street View coming back to iOS 6. We all missed it so much, since it was replaced with Apple's in-house failed Maps app... And now it's back on track, ladies and gentleman!

That's it for this week. Have a nice weekend and take care!
