WhatsApp may soon let users hide their online status
The popular messaging client WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will let you hide your profile photo and 'Last seen' status from certain people. The feature long requested by users will let you protect yourself from intrusive attention.
As spotted by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp users will be able to configure who is allowed to see them in the Last Seen section found in the new privacy settings. It seems that this option will be available in a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS and desktop users. However, the feature is still under development and might undergo some changes before it is released.
