Opera rolls out its fastest version to date
Opera has just been updated to version 43 and the new build brings some very interesting changes. Undoubtedly, the most important addition is a feature called instant page loading, which makes your pages load a lot faster than before. According to Krystian Kolondra, the company's executive vice-president, this is the fastest version of Opera to date, so you have every reason to bring the browser up-to-date if you haven't done so already.
As far as I understand, this new feature uses predictive technology and loads the website in the background, before you actually finish typing its name. Unfortunately, this means that the browser is going to have to learn your browsing habits, so some privacy issues may arise, but for the regular user the trade-off is more than worth it. Moreover, the 43rd version of Opera also brings something called Profile Guided Optimization technique, which allows the browser to adapt itself to your hardware configuration and operating system, thus being able to function up to 13% faster. Lastly, the classic link selection function helps the users to easily copy the text within a link without actually including the embedded URL by clicking and dragging horizontally. If you want to copy both the link and text, you're going to need to perform a vertical selection action.
