You'll soon be able to use PayPal in most Google services You'll soon be able to use PayPal in most Google services

The bond between PayPal and Google Pay is strengthening. In the near future, you will be able to use your PayPal account for payments as well as for peer-to-peer transfers within Gmail, YouTube, Play Store or other Google-owned services without having to login first or to leave the respective service. As far as we know, this deeper integration of the two services will become available later this year, but an official date hasn't yet been announced.

As some of you may know, Google Pay was already in partnership with PayPal and you could use your Google Wallet to pay with PayPal money in stores; However, this new functionality will give you even more freedom to spend your money online. Besides being advantageous for the users, this move also helps PayPal get more customers as well as more transaction revenue and ensures that people don't move away from Google's services because they can't make transactions the way they want to. Hopefully, there will come a time when all the online payment options will be available for any transaction, thus giving us complete freedom in choosing how we spend our money and the services that we want to use.

Nevertheless, before venturing into too many online transactions, especially from your phone, don't forget that we're living in dangerous world. I recommend checking out at least a few apps that protect your money so that you can be at least somewhat prepared for the scamming attempts you'll encounter sooner or later.
