AI-based services for all: home improvement and design AI-based services for all: home improvement and design

LEGO is one of the top brands in the world, and not just in the realm of toys. Statista, a leading source of statistical data and insights, has a dedicated page for the Danish company. All things considered, a collision of AI and LEGO was just a matter of time. The first encounter yielded LegoGPT, an AI model designed by researchers from Carnegie Mellon that generates physically stable and buildable LEGO brick models taking text prompts as input. “Stable” and “buildable” are the keywords here: the model was trained on a large dataset called StableText2Lego, containing over 47,000 LEGO structures and 28,000 unique 3D objects.

Why this sort of intro? Because the AIs we give you in this piece, the next installment of the “AI-based services for all” series, also have to do with construction and design, and tap into countless projects that have been proven to play beautifully in real life. If you’re looking to renovate your space, landscape the outside, or just improve the interior, these will surely be most helpful.

1. HomeDesignsAI

HomeDesignsAI does it all, exactly as the name suggests. It helps visualize design ideas for interior, exterior, and outdoors quickly and in various artistic styles. The tool has been around for some time, and many of the tools currently available to paying customers are based on feedback.

There is a free tier to HomeDesignsAI, but the said advanced tools are only given at paid plans, same as a wide range of design options and styles.

2. Maket.ai

Maket.ai is a more advanced tool that aims at both professional and amateur target audiences. The former range from large design companies to crews of builders, since Maket is a comprehensive AI architectural design and planning tool that automates floorplan generation, exterior design, and virtual interior furnishing, all compliant with the regulations in force. General folk can take advantage of the decoration and space utilization features that suggest effective solutions.

The free plan lets you make up to 3 projects and gives 2 design credits, and a premium subscription lifts those limitations and giving access to expert help.

3. Canva AI Interior Design

Canva AI Interior Design follows the principles of the platform it is built into: simplicity mixed with sophistication in exactly the right proportions. The tool can transform photos or sketches of rooms into interiors with over 30 style options, and allows building them from scratch. The end result is a photorealistic render that greatly simplifies a renovation project.

The free tier gives access to some basic AI design tools, tons of templates, and 5 GB storage (as of this writing), and paid plans extend each of these components.

4. Coohom AI Landscape Design Generator

Coohom is an AI-powered design tool that, much like HomeDesignsAI, does it all. Its one-liner says, “Create a 3D home design in 10 minutes, render a stunning visual in just 10 seconds.” The service claims it is the world’s leading home design software of 2025, which may well be substantiated, since the tools are easy to use, and all the interfaces are well thought out, same as the designs Coohom generates.

There is a Basic plan that’s free, but renders everything with a watermark, which may not be a problem for personal use. The Pro plan starts from $12 a month per user and opens all the tools the service has to offer.

5. Renovate AI

As the name implies, Renovate AI focuses on catering to the needs of individuals that want to do things themselves but need a little bit of assistance (plus some inspiration and ideas). One of the taglines of the service reads “Your co-pilot for home design,” an attractive offer when you want to stay at the helm at all times. The AI tool generates personalized interior and exterior remodeling concepts with real-time visualizations, can recognize objects in pictures and make remodeling scenarios quickly.

There is a trial period that lets you see if the service is right for your specific needs hands-on, using the tool without any strings attached.
