Huawei and Honor owners and Google bans Huawei and Honor owners and Google bans

On existing gadgets, Huawei and its subsidiary brand Honor will no longer update Android, and the next generation of smartphones will not have access to Google services. For Huawei and Honor users, this means that they will lose access to Google’s technology and software. Google remove the Huawei Mate X and P30 Pro from Android.com entirely.

Google said that the situation will not affect the already released Huawei and Honor smartphones and tablets - their owners will be able to continue to download and update applications via Google Play and use other services, including Search, Maps, Gmail, and Assistant.

Huawei promised that users of Huawei and Honor devices will receive security updates. This applies to smartphones and tablets that are already used or are available in the global market. It also means that Huawei can install all of the above updates on their smartphones but only when they become publicly available.

It remains only to observe how Huawei will cope with cutting itself off from the world's main operating system for mobile devices. However, even if the corporation pulls out its own OS, it will not solve its problems with so much demanded consumers almost all over the world by Google services.

If you cannot download applications from Google Play for some reason, you will always find any apps on Droid informer.
